So A few weeks ago I was called to be in the young womens oragnization in my ward. I decided I would like to re- earn my young womens medallion. [I earned the one I have when I was a young woman]. Any way I emailed some of my family and friends and invited them to come on this journey with me. I am begining with the new value virtue. You can get a look at this on the lds.org website under the young women. You can even print one from that website and come along this personal progress journey with me....

I have decided to begin with the value experience 3. Prepare to be worthy to enter the temple and even though I hold a current temple recomend I figure there is always room for improvement and understanding so I begin with this. I also like the integrity value expeience 1. I have been thinking alot lately about what Iwatch and listen to and say or even think. If I am truely going to be worthy of temple attendace I could do better in this area. Especially with this gloomy weather, summer vacation and all of us being home together getting on each others nerves because we can't go outside. I could use some extra effort with the kind words department. As I begin this journey I will blog my thoughts and experieinces as I go along. I love to see this . Military remembrances of those who paid the ultimate price of freedom. I feel so patriotic, it's almost a spiritual feeling to see the kinds of scenes we saw at the cemitary on Memorial Day. What a great teaching moment!

Memorial day

Memorial day we set off for the cemetary. Mom decided that the fam should be taught to honor and remember the family who have gone before. So we loaded up and set off. It was a spectacular day weather wise. Murray is where Dad's Granparents are burried and he loved his grandma so!!! She was and is very dear to his heart. He got quiet and a little emotional as he showed the kids her grave. He even sent every one on ahead to go to the car so he could have a quite moment before we left.

A Preschool Grad

I can't believe that another school year has passed. Parker is ready to be moving on to the Big school. We went to the Little Graduates preschool graduation program and all of Parker's grandparents got to come along with big sister Whitney. We were at the park for this graduation and it was so much fun to watch the kids show off what they had been taught this year. What a sweet and darling little bunch! No wonder Ms. Tonya is sad to be done teaching after 1o yrs. Watching those kids being so cute it would be very hard for me to say good bye also. Thanks Ms. Tonya!!!! It's been a fabulous experience for us all!!!

So I started a blog for my parents family and then this one for my family. So far I'm pretty darn proud of my self. So I emailed my siblings and told them of my great achievement and advised them that hey should log on and view my feat of great genius. Actually I was so excited that I wanted to share. My hope is that my family might more easily keep up on things with each other via this lovely bit of technology.
My sister has emailed me and she cannot for the life of her get the address I gave her to open it up. [much to my dismay] So I log on and while doing so I'm thinking that if I can do this it can't be that hard. so I open it up and all of the blogs I began are in a strange language.. I don't know what in the world is going on. So after many attempts I'm thinking no wonder she can't open it up. So I did what everyone does [who is lucky enough to know my good friend] I called Audrey and she takes the time to look up my blog and she miraculously gets me to where I can change the language from Norsk to English. A simple click of a button and viola my little blog creations have been set right again. YAHOOOO!! Thanks Audrey!! She saves my life often.

Fall settles in
I actually think that tonight it feels more like winter and I should have pulled out all my lovely flowers last week when it was still warm.. All my flowers still looked so beautiful and happy I just couldn't bring myself to pull them out. So I decided to just weed and now tonight it looks like they will probably freeze any way....
So I'll put another blanket on the bed [Which I love] it reminds me of being at my Grandmothers little farm house in Idaho and snuggling in under those old heavy blankets and feeling safe happy and warm.

Trying to start a blog for me is challenging. I hope however to endeavor until I finally succeed at this technology stuff.
To begin I am sooooo not ready for summer to end. I think I got robbed somehow. I'm not done sitting on my porch swing enjoying the warm light of the long evenings, going to movies in the park and sleeping in a little. I could still plant some more flowers or bushes and watch my garden grow and eat the fresh stuff that it so plentifully gives me. Don't get me wrong I do enjoy this time of year too. Eating fresh peaches[from our tree] and raspberries for breakfast, picking corn for dinner, making and then eating fresh salsa from the tomato patch. Yes this season has much to offer but my favorite is sweet summer time. School is out and we are swimming and splashing in the pool with the kids, and going for leisurely walks and skipping rocks into the canal. Summer I Love it parades, fireworks, camping [which we did this year twice, and in a tent]
I think fall sneaked in a bit early this year when football started.
It[ football season] came a week early this year. So far it has been fun but hello a LOTof time... It's a good thing that Nathan loves it.
